ECF lost two of its beloved and former Board members in December.

Dr. Harold Lane, who was Chairman of International Council and Chairman Emeritus of ECF International, passed away at the age of 91 in Royal Oaks Manor in Bradbury, California.

Dr. Samuel Lo, who served from 1999 through 2011, died peacefully at the age of 85 in Montebello, California.

Both will be deeply missed.

凌克勞博士/牧師在二零二零年十二月廿一日去世，息勞歸主，享年九十一歲。凌博士/牧師曾任中國佈道會董事和國際理事㑹主席多年，供獻甚大。

盧乃明博士/牧師在二零二零十二月三十一日去世，安息主懷，回到天父的懷抱中，享年八十五歲。由一九九九年至二零一一年，盧牧師是中佈的董事的成員之一，他亦曾經多次參與中佈在國內外不同的事工，做事熱成，非常愛主。

In partnership with the American Red Cross, ECF held its first Blood Donation Campaign in its International Chapel. A total of 12 individuals took part in the campaign that day, including our own President Chan and Board Treasurer Linda Pauloo.

中國佈道會與美國紅十字會合作在總會的國際堂內舉行一天的捐血活動。當天共有十二人參與，包括中佈的陳會長和董事及財務主管普蓮德女士。

ECF Board approved the sale of its Big Bear Lake Retreat House. Transactions were completed on November 30.

中國佈道會董事局一致通過出售位於美國加州大熊湖的一所物業，在十一月三十日已正式完成，售價為美金一百萬三千元，感謝神的帶領。

ECF held a Fall Art Contest focusing on the theme from 1 Thessalonians 5:18, “Give thanks in all circumstances for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.” Students from grades 3-12 were invited to participate.

中佈舉辦秋之頌讚藝術創作比賽，並且邀請三年至十二年級青少年參加，參選項目環繞在帖撒羅尼迦前書五章18節為主題：凡事謝恩，因為這是上帝在基督耶穌裏向你們所定的旨意。

ECF supported the construction of a Computer Training Center in Tra Son Sisters’ Evangelical Church. The cost is $2,000. When completed, children in the Tra Bong area will learn computer skills, English, as well as other important life skills.

中國佈道會以美金二千元資助在越南山區建立一所電腦培訓中心。主要給予當地的兒童們能夠學習電腦，英語，及其他生活的技能。

ECF held two separate sessions of Summer (August 3 – October 2) and Fall (October 12 – December 11) English Conversation Classes taught via Zoom by Ms. Kunyou Guan. Kunyou was also one of the English teachers in ECF’s 2019 Summer English Teaching Program in Hangzhou, China.

關坤尤老師在網上教授兩堂的英語會話課程。第一課由八月三日至十月二日；而第二課是由十月十二日至十二月十一日。關老師有豐富教學經驗，她也是中國佈道會二零一九年被派到中國杭州女青年會教暑期英語班的老師團隊其一成員。

Ms. Ao Wai San, one of the children in ECF’s Fellowship Orphanage in Macau, was awarded the Dr. & Mrs. Harold Lane Academic Scholarship during Sunday service. Ms. Ao will continue her education at the University of Macau with a declared major in Law.

中佈在澳門恩慈院其中一位院童區慧珊得到「凌克勞博士伉儷獎學金」，以給予鼓勵和支持。區姊妹會繼續到澳門大學進修法律系課程。

ECF completed 3 Dr. J Edwin Orr’s Lecture Series via Zoom on (1) Contributions of Chinese in America Despite the Chinese Exclusion Acts by Mr. Peter Chan in July 25; (2) Insurance & Retirement Planning by Ms. Joanne Giang in August 1; and (3) How to Strengthen One’s Immune System by Dr. Sun in August 16.

中佈順利完成了三個在網上進行的 ［歐伊文博士講座系列］：（1）華人在美國的貢獻及成功個案 – 講員陳贊新先生；（2）保險與退休講座；（3）如何增強個人免疫功能 – 孫麗琴中醫醫師。

Beginning in July 1, Ms. Jinyu Zhou (Ruth) joined ECF as Assistant Minister with primary responsibilities in the expansion and growth of its International Chapel. ECF also welcomes Ruth’s husband, Derek, as well as their four children, Joseph, Hannah, Esther, and Rebecca into the ECF family.

ECF held a 9-week Spring English Conversation Class which was taught virtually by Ms. Yuting Feng, a graduate at USC with a Master of Arts Degree in TESOL.

中佈在網上開始一個為期九星期的英語會話課程，由馮珏婷老師帶領。馮老師在美國南加州大學畢業，完成英文系碩士課程，有豐富的教學經驗。

Relying on Zoom technology, and despite the ongoing pandemic crisis, ECF resumed its weekly worship service beginning on May 10, 2020.

就算在疫情的影響下，中佈決定由五月十一日起在網上（zoom)重新開始主日崇拜及其他不同的活動。

In response to the needs of the Los Angeles Regional Food Bank, which was directly impacted by the ongoing pandemic crisis, ECF donated $1,000 to the agency which allowed it to serve a total of 4,000 meals to the needy and the homeless population in the Greater Los Angeles areas.

因疫情原故，中佈資助當地洛杉磯食物庫服務中心一千元，直似能夠供應四千份飯菜給當地有需要或受疫情影響的居民。

To comply with the “Safer-at-Home” mandate of the Los Angeles County’s Public Health Department, whose actions and decisions were made in response to the Novel Coronavirus Pandemic Crisis (COVID-19), ECF office was closed and all staff telecommuted from home during that entire period. ECF also cancelled all in-person local ministries and Sunday worships beginning on March 22.

因疫程原故，而亦在當地政府的要求下，中佈在蒙特利公園市的辨公室要暫時關閉及所有同工們都在家中上班。同一時間，國際堂亦由三月廿二日起暫停主日崇拜。中佈亦要取消在當地的工作，直到可以安全進行為止。

In celebration of the Chinese New Year of the Rat, and in partnership with Dr. Fai (Frank) Cheng and his teams, ECF held a gospel karaoke musical concert at the International Chapel. The event was well attended by local residents.

為慶祝農曆新年，中國佈道㑹與鄭澤輝博士和他的團隊在國際堂舉辦卡拉OK音樂佈道會，當天亦有不少人參加。

President Chan travelled to Goa, India visiting Pastor Stevens Dumpala’s Bible Church and the children of the Little Lights School in the slum district of the city. President Chan also actively took part in two musical outreach events. On Sunday, 1/26, President Chan was also a sermon speaker at the Bible Church. President Chan met up with Pastor Stevens’ father and brother, Pastors Philip Samuel and Shaphan Philip, in Goa discussing potential partnership possibilities in their hometown, Guntur, India.

陳會長到印度的哥以市探望司提反牧師的聖經教會和住在當地貧民區的兒童。陳會長亦參與兩個的音樂佈道會，亦在一月廿六日的崇拜中分享神的話語。㑹長亦有機會認識司提反牧師的父親和哥哥，討論合作發展在印度東部的工作。

ECF held its Annual Board Meeting and unanimously passed to adopt the theme: To Act Justly, Love Mercy, and Walk Humbly With Your God from the Book of Micah 6:8 for 2020. Rev. David Guzik, Board Member and 1st Vice-President, opened the meeting with prayers and provided words of encouragement to all those who were present.

中國佈道㑹在美國總㑹辨公室舉行年會而且通過二零二年度主題，在彌迦書六章八節：行公義，好憐憫，存謙卑的心，與你的神同行。中佈董事及第一副會長顧錫奇傳道開會前禱告及分享神的話語。
